Elegance

I have to apologize for the lack of posts on this blog. My computer has not been working lately, so I have to post from my iPod. Which means, incedently, no pictures. My iPod touch cannot multitask.

Being elegant is trick business. You have to be classy and tasteful and daring and everything all put together. It is hard to do it all at once.
The classy part is easy. Being classy just means that your clothes are cute and stylish but no overly trendy. You all know the people who take the trends too far. There are quite a few of them out there.
Good taste is something that cannot be taught. It just is. People all have different tastes, but if you use your instinct you can achieve anything. Most people try too hard to look elegant.
Daring-this is tough. People who are daring have to have a good sense of style. You can't ever go too far, but you can do something just a little out of the ordinary. Truth or dare gives a very inaccurate description of daring.
Being elegant is pretty tough sometimes. But it's fun. And elegance beats the latest trends any day.

Red

I love the color red. It is extremely versatile. Anyone can wear it, at any time of year. It matches so many thing it is practically a neutral. I adore it.
Red goes with blue, black, yellow, green, even pink if you are careful. It doesn't go very well with orange, though.
The thing about clothes that most people don't understand is that they don't have to match. They have to go. Stacy and Clinton on What Not to Wear have a big thing about that. And it is SO true.
